How to: Draw a rectangle in a report.
Solution:
Use the 'Rectangle' tool from the Toolbox in Report Design view.
NOTE: If the Database window is not active, activate the Database window.
1) Click the 'Reports' tab in the Database window.

2) Select a report from the list. (The report is highlighted.)
3) Click 'Design'. (The report opens in Design view.)
4) If the Toolbox is not open, click 'Toolbox' located in the 'Form Design' toolbar. (The button appears depressed when Toolbox is active.)

5) Click 'Rectangle' from the Toolbox.

6) Move the mouse pointer to the desired location for the top left corner of the rectangle. (The cursor appears as a + and a rectangle.)
7) Press and hold down the mouse button.
8) Drag diagonally and down across the report.
9) Release the mouse button when the desired size is reached.
